Our medical mushrooms

Our medicinal mushroom raw materials are ideal as dietary supplements or for functional foods. All our raw materials are comprehensively tested and analysed, taking into account well over 200 parameters. This guarantees you safe and effective products that you can bring to market immediately.

Natural, precise, sustainable - decisive factors

High-quality medicinal mushroom products can only be created if the raw material used, in other words the mushroom, is of the highest quality. The basis for high-quality mushrooms are the conditions under which they are cultivated.

Good raw materials can only be produced if all conditions are perfectly balanced and this starts with cultivation.

Quality from selected cultivation partners

In order to guarantee a permanently high level of quality, we do not purchase our mushroom raw materials from the free market, but exclusively from our selected partners.

In order to be able to guarantee you the best quality, we rely exclusively on our select partners. We value the long tradition of medicinal mushroom cultivation in China and attach great importance to the optimal cultivation areas for our medicinal mushrooms.

Cultivation in China enables us to combine the ideal climate with the millennia-old knowledge of mushroom cultivation according to Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM). The cultivation sites are in China, where the mushrooms have been cultivated and valued for several thousand years.

The cultivation methods developed there have prompted us to utilise the high quality and expertise of the farmers. The cultivation is far away from large cities and the influences of industry, and therefore also far away from all the harmful substances of large cities and industry.

Sterile cultivation, natural growth

Each mushroom species needs its own composition to grow. The composition of substrate and growing location is of central importance for the development of all ingredients.

We utilise the extensive experience of our partners, who know exactly what the needs and requirements of the various mushroom species are in order to ensure the maximum nutrient content in the product.

Using heat, it is possible to work without the use of chemical or biological pesticides. The heat sterilises the ingredients used for the substrates, after which all the ingredients are filled into special packaging. The inoculated substrate packaging is stored in the open air on high shelves that are covered with a film like a tent.

Drying process

Sustainable drying ensures that none of the medicinal mushrooms are lost. Before the mushrooms are dried, we subject them to comprehensive testing. More than 200 parameters such as microbial contamination, radioactivity and heavy metals are checked. The mushrooms are only dried once the laboratory has categorised them as free from contamination. If possible, the mushrooms are dried in the sun or in special drying ovens that are not heated above 40°C. This ensures that the chitin contained in the mushrooms is removed. In this way, the ingredients contained in the chitin, such as polysaccharides and others, are not lost. The drying ovens are heated with the harvested substrate packs and the packaging is recycled. This protects the environment and no resources are wasted.

The extraction

We focus on gentle extraction according to the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). This enables us to achieve the highest bioavailability. Extraction is a standardised TCM process that makes it possible to obtain valuable polysaccharides and beta-glucans from the mushrooms and make them bioavailable for the human metabolism. This process corresponds to the latest technical developments and requires a great deal of expertise: Different temperatures and times are required for each type of mushroom in order to extract the polysaccharides from the mushroom'schitinous carapace.

During extraction, the dried pieces of mushrooms are heated continuously for several hours without boiling, which gradually loosens the chitin and protein bonds. The number of repetitions of this method controls the polysaccharide content. Once this process is complete, the soluble components are separated from the solid components and only the soluble parts are further processed into the high-quality raw material using a special drying process.

State-of-the-art technology for pure medicinal mushrooms

Gentle drying, finely tuned pulverisation and careful extraction are the basic prerequisites for our raw materials and crucial for their effectiveness. The individual processing of each type of mushroom is of crucial importance for the quality of our products. We have perfected the steps of drying, pulverisation and extraction through many years of experience and with state-of-the-art technologies. The quality is continuously monitored by laboratories in order to guarantee our customers the highest quality medicinal mushroom raw materials at all times.
